I really hate the idea of adding my voice to something that everyone is talking about and hundreds are articulating brilliantly, but, the more this winds around in my head the more I think we need to shift the movement. Forget gun control, we need to control the NRA. That’s the fight we need to take on. Fighting gun control is going to be a losing battle until the NRA is brought down. I can’t imagine there being any hope so long as the NRA remains as powerful and influential as they are.

Progressives, liberals, sensible people, we have been fighting the wrong battle. Take down the NRA, the guns will fall with them and their influence. All our energy needs to go the bringing them down.
