I think this week’s “Get On the Right Thing” (Thursday Feb 21st at 11am on growradio.org) has got the coolest set-list ever… raw, weird, wild, experimental and kick-ass! Yeah… I said it… “KICK ASS,” and I wasn’t talking about some dumb eighties metal band. Lots of surprising stuff, lots of killer outtakes and bootleg tracks. I think this was Wings most unusual and interesting period. The whole vibe surrounding this album (Back To the Egg) is strange to say the least. Macca was really searching for something here, and the search is fascinating, but I tend to like those albums, Press To Play, Back To the Egg, Driving Rain… all really captivating journeys.

Can’t wait to play this stuff on the air. I just played it through as a test and thoroughly enjoyed the trip!
